Many of our CRPF members participate in AKC/UKC/IABCA events. This includes conformation, agility, performance, rally, obedience, farmdog, and scentwork. Our members hold countless titles on their pugs. The Pug Dog Club of America (PDCA) has also recognized many CRPF members for various accomplishments, such as: Stud Dog of the Year, Top 25 ranking Pugs in the country, and most Best in Show wins. Our members themselves have earned breeder awards and certifications through the above mentioned organizations as well.

I’ve had a pug or two since 1967 and have been a pug enthusiast ever since. I got my 1st real show dog in 2016, Priscilla, from Mari Anne Parks of Chelsea Pugs. I was able to earn Priscilla her Grand Champion title and have been hooked on showing ever since! Her daughter, GCS Chelsea’s Sharp Gran Desert Pearl, “Pearlie” recently earned her grand champion Silver! Also, recently started doing obedience and rally with one of my pugs. Great fun!

We are a husband an wife team out of Ridgefield WA. While we are new breeders, we have had pugs for over 15 years and are dedicated to bettering the breed. We started with rescue pugs and seeing the health issues that our pugs had we made it our mission to do better by this amazing breed. We got our first show pug Duncan from Carla Carson and were hooked on showing and breeding for health. We are incredibly passionate and live for our pugs!

Chelsea’s Lil Bit Pugs

My love for pugs started with Sassy. After her death, I was extremely fortunate to find Amore (my heart dog) through Mari Anne Parks. Amore was Chelsea Pugs first performance dog. Next came Dolce from Finland. She was out of Amore’s brother Harry. She screamed all the way from Finland. Dolce and Bourbon had 5 beautiful puppies. Of course, I kept Shecky and Baci. Baci is a Grand Champion Bronze. Last, but not least, Pinky is out of Baci and Shecky’s sister Sweetness.

Performance continues with Rally, Agility, and scent work. Love the bond I have with each of my babies.

Hi! We are Philip and Shirley Gilchrest and we are Tyrion-Rose pugs. We’ve had pugs since 1990 and started off in obedience until we got our first well-bred pug in 2005. We intended to just do obedience with him but were encouraged to show him and the rest is history. We bred our first litter with our mentor in 2017. We are proud of our partnership with Carla Rose and of the dogs we have produced together.
